Bonkers is a huge adult male black bear, weighing 600 lbs and standing over 6 ft tall. Bonker’s speciality is working with people; he is especially good with children.

He was hired on Disney's Jungle Book, Mowgli's Story and Gentle Ben 1 & 2 specifically to work with a child actor.  His other credits include A Bear Named Winnie, Brokeback Mountain, Buffy The Vampite Slayer, Charmed, General Hospital, Grizzly Falls, Topa Topa, You Asked For It, Cousin Skeeter, Eddie and Greg’s Action Animals, BBC’s 999, Canadian Geographic and the Sopranos. He also recently featured in a Bojangles commercial.

In addition , Bonkers makes  charity appearances and is a favorite during the bear presentations given at schools and parks.
